Virtual library cards
Highlands County Library System is now offering virtual library cards. You must be 18 or older and a first time card member. Call 863-402-6716 and supply your full name, photo ID, address, and contact information. These temporary cards will expire 6 months after the issue date.
Outside book drops
Highlands County Libraries’ outside book drops will be reopening! Drop boxes at Avon Park, Sebring, and Lake Placid libraries will be open Fridays from 11 AM to Saturdays at 5:30 PM beginning May 1. For questions, call 863-402-6716
