We have recently completed an upgrade to Polaris, our automated library system. Polaris recommends using IE8 as your browser for accessing Polaris from home. However, several users have reported other browsers such as Firefox seem to work. Chrome has difficulty displaying the suggestions drop down box. If you are not able to place holds from home, you may have to clear your computer’s cache and restart. Users reporting trouble with placing holds have found taking these steps fixes the problem.
