DeSoto County

Greetings from DeSoto County Library

As the days grow shorter, we watch the children in our lives grow more excited with the anticipation of Christmas.  We have activities designed for one and all to help you enjoy the holidays.  We are working on building a Christmas tree made of books.  Santa will be stopping by for a visit on Saturday the 13th; we are having a Christmas tea on Sunday the 14th, a Christmas movie marathon day on the 19th, and crafts throughout the day on the 23rd.

We also have gifts for you and your family.  We will have wrapped books for the children (calling all wrapping volunteers to help) from the 16th through the 23rd as long as they last.  For adults, we will give you the opportunity to tag a book in the book tree and will have it once the tree comes down at New Year’s.

And while you work through your busy holiday season, please feel free to join us for any or all of our activities.  We promise to do our best to add a little joy to your day.  Best of all, we won’t break your budget.   All of our activities are free to everyone who stops by.

Happy Holidays!
