It’s time to get excited about reading! Beginning in September, Highlands County libraries will feature an AR-testable book each month for upper elementary grades. A list of complementary activities students can complete at home will be available for each title. There are limited print copies available but no-cost electronic copies of each title will be available for students who have smart devices.
Beginning in October, the Highlands County public libraries will offer a curated reading experience called Books & Beyond. Each month the library will suggest: a book or a series to read, a related online activity, related books to explore, and other fun activities based on the book.
