The Friends of the Lake Placid Memorial Library are pleased to announce the grand opening of their gently used bookstore. The new bookstore is located in the west wing of the Lake Placid Memorial Library. The library has generously donated this space to the bookstore so the Friends can provide a spacious and pleasant space for book buyers and browsers.
The grand opening celebration will be April 9 from 2-4 in the bookstore and the library meeting room. Music will be provided by popular local musician Larry Musgrave. Wonderful refreshments will be provided by the Friends and local baker, Pam, owner of R. Bundts R. Better. Clowns from Toby the Clown’s group of fun clowns will be on hand to provide entertainment. We hope to see you at this wonderful event.
